**Yuji is Better World Rescue's longest resident and has been looking for a home for THREE YEARS. Transport can be arranged within continental US for serious adopters.**

Yuji is a big old senior goofball who loves rolling around on a nice grassy lawn. He loves every human he meets and is always ready for adventure. Yuji loves to run around with zoomies in his yard before retiring back to the couch for a nice nap.

Yuji was unfortunately hit by a car in Manteca and when his owners were contacted to let them know their family dog was injured and in the shelter, they chose to surrender him over the phone instead of taking him home. Since the shelter has no veterinary resources, he had to find rescue right away or be euthanized. Better World Rescue took this sweet boy in and we are so happy that we did. He is great in the car and loves to lounge around with his humans. He has now recovered fully from his injuries and has a clean bill of health for adoption.

Yuji is house-trained, crate-trained and knows his basic commands. Yuji would be easiest as an only dog as he can guard food and toys from other dogs. But he can live with other dogs in an experienced home with slow introductions. He is not recommended to live with cats as he has moderate prey drive. He is working on walking a bit more calmly on leash, but seeing this happy boy prance around is actually pretty cute.
