Description

"Moxie" is an apt name for this adoptable girl full of spark and spirit. Moxie is a playful, adoring dog with an infectious energy. She is short but thick, loves chew toys, and does everything with an extra dose of personality. She belongs with someone with a sense of humor; she's a funny, feel-good, one-eyed, wiggle-bummed gal. We pulled Moxie and her puppies from a shelter, and her puppies have all since been adopted. But Moxie--the original--is still waiting. Mama dogs are special! They love so hard, and Moxie is no exception. Moxie is crate-trained, housebroken, and knows a ton of commands. Adopt this one-eyes beauty by submitting an application today!

    The American Staffordshire Terrier, also known as the AmStaff or American Staffy is a medium-sized, short-coated American dog breed. The height of an American Staffordshire Terrier is 17–19 in (43–48 cm) tall and weighs between 40–70 lb (18–32 kg). The American Kennel Club (AKC) describes the breed as "confident, smart and good-natured." American Staffordshire Terriers are similar to American Pit Bull Terriers, though the American Pit Bull Terrier is not recognized by the American Kennel Club. The breed was accepted by the AKC in 1936. It should not be confused with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier of the United Kingdom.
