Annabelle and Albert are a bonded pair of pure bred Boston Terrier siblings that have spent their entire lives together. Sadly, their owner passed away and they are looking for a loving adopter who will take them both. They are house and crate trained, although they can get a bit vocal when crated and it’s not necessarily required. They are good with other dogs, but they can get a bit nervous around bigger dogs who don’t give them their space. Their ideal home would be a calmer one and they love attention and snuggling. Annabelle is fond of carrying her ball around and she loves to play. For all you Boston Terrier lovers, Annabelle and Albert could be your perfect match! If you have room in your heart and home for two, fill out an application today and give these sweethearts the forever home of their dreams!Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.    Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.       Foster Program:    Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home.  For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.orgSPONSOR ME! Help Save Lives!    Make a tax-deductible donation today and help save a life. The Boston Terrier is a breed of dog originating in the United States of America. This American Gentleman was accepted in 1893 by the American Kennel Club as a non-sporting breed. Color and markings are important when distinguishing this breed from the AKC standard. They should be either black, brindle or seal with white markings. Boston Terriers are small and compact with a short tail and erect ears. The AKC says they are highly intelligent and very easily trained. They are friendly and can be stubborn at times. The average life span of a Boston Terrier is around 11 to 13 years. They have a short nose, which can often cause breathing problems later in life, which is what leads to a low life expectancy. The American Kennel Club ranked the Boston Terrier as the 21st most popular breed in 2019.
