**This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces Vintage Paws Animal Rescue**

Look out! Here comes NINJA, sneaking in to steal your heart! Ninja is an approximately two-year-old, 17 pound male Chihuahua/Dachshund (best guess) mix. He was surrendered to the rescue when his former owner could no longer care for him. Ninja is the perfect small/medium size, and a great combo of friendly yet independent. He is a curious guy who is happy to sniff around and explore on his own. He also is happy to meet a new friend and will readily approach you for pets and attention. Ninja is good on leash and enjoys walk time. His cutest quirk that we have discovered so far, is his love of squeaky toys. He will hold them in his mouth and come up to you to show you how utterly adorable he looks! Ninja is social with other dogs and wouldn't mind a new buddy in his forever home; bring your dog in to say hello! Are you ready to meet Ninja? Adoption fees are dependent on the age and breed of the animal as well as monthly or seasonal promotions. Please inquire directly as to fee of any animal you're interested in. We do require meet & greets and adopter to be present in person and provide valid id.

The standard-sized dachshund was developed to scent, chase, and flush out badgers and other burrow-dwelling animals, while the miniature dachshund was bred to hunt small animals such as rabbits and mice. In the Western United States, they have also been used to track wounded deer and hunt prairie dogs. Dachshunds participate in conformation shows, field trials and many other events organized through pure-bred dog organizations such as the American Kennel Club (AKC). According to the AKC, the dachshund was ranked 12th in popularity among dog breeds in the United States in 2018.
