We’d like you to meet the amazing Dame Von Purriwinkle, madam of all purrs and pets! This confident little floofer will greet you at the door and require you as her ‘Chief Cuddler in Waiting’. Purriwinkle loves to sit on your lap, snuggle, and relax with you. Just sit down and she'll come to you! She’s always incredibly sweet.

Adoption process

We ONLY adopt animals to homes in the greater Los Angeles area.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$120 for a kitten or cat up to 2 years old, or $200 if you adopt a pair.
Cats 2 to 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%
We will waive the adoption fee for any cat over 10 years old.
Our dog adoption fee is $200.

Shelter location

While appointments to visit the Kitten Adoption Center are encouraged, walk-ins are always welcome! Make sure you complete the Cat Adoption Questionnaire here online prior to visiting us. To schedule an appointment please email [email protected] If you do come by without an appointment, wait times to get in to the Adoption Center may vary. (Please note we may be closed or have modified hours on holidays; email us to check.)

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events.
