NUTMEG IS PART OF A BONDED PAIR WITH THEODORE (FF2358), THEY MUST BE ADOPTED TOGETHER.

Nutmeg is a beautiful, medium haired calico. Nutmeg came into care at roughly six weeks old. The kittens had no socialization and were semi-feral. Nutmeg was the shyest of the kittens and still doesn`t like to be touched. She is a sweet cat, loves to play and loves other cats. She needs a home that will let her continue to grow at her very slow pace. Nutmeg would do best in an adult only home given how timid she is. She loves to chase light beams and watch the birds outside. She is also an excellent bug catcher.

Adoption process

All adoptions begin with an adoption application, available here or on our website (or from one of our wonderful volunteers in person). The application is reviewed by the adoptable animal's foster home as well as by the appropriate coordinator (canine/feline) to assess how the animal will fit in your home. We endeavour to respond to all applications within 72 hours, but being 100% run by volunteers sometimes we need additional time--if you haven't heard back after 72 hours, feel free to contact us to check in on your application.

Canine Adoption Fees:
$450 for puppies under 1 year of age
$375 for dogs over 1 year & under 7 years
$300 for dogs 7 years and older

Feline Adoption Fees:
$250 for kittens and cats up to 12 months old
$200 for cats between 1-6 years old
$150 for cats 6 years old and older

Adoption fees help offset the cost to our organization of providing full medical care (including spay or neuter surgery) to each animal we adopt to a furever home.
