Furby is about 11 weeks old with a slightly wispy coat that's not quite short-haired but also not medium-haired. His rescuer was in her aunt's backyard in Pittsburg when she heard a horrible ruckus from the neighboring yard and discovered Furby between the fence boards where his mama was protecting him from a dog. She was able to grab him, stuff him into a carrier and took him home... and a week later she found 5 baby kittens in the same back yard. Cousins?

Furby is doing great with other kittens, has seen the dog in his foster home from the other side of a pet-gate. He's easy to pick up and hold, a little shy with new people, but is doing great for only being inside a couple weeks! He is scheduled on 7/20 for neuter, microchip, rabies and additional FVRCP vaccines.
