Introducing BABY BOY... DOB est 8/29/2023, male, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped...

Our sweet, SWEET BABY BOY is a special case. He came into a local shelter at 6 weeks old this past Fall and was unable to walk or stand. He had seizures that lasted the 1st week after joining a foster home, and earned his name because he was so very precious and his foster mom wasn't honestly sure if he'd make it... But he's a fighter! After 2 weeks he was walking and had no more seizures... but his brain seems to be struggling a little. He has coordination now, but not fully like other cats. He doesn't jump on top of things, and often falls off things he tries to climb on. While we don't know what happened to him when he was a baby, he is THRIVING now. BABY BOY loves dogs, other cats, and kids but since he is a little challenged, it does take him time to adjust. He loves to curl up and take naps with dogs or his humans. He is looking for someone to love him unconditionally.... If you're interested in meeting him, please EMAIL [email protected]!

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
