I may be small, but I've got a nose for news and a heart full of curiosity. My days are spent chasing stories-like that elusive red dot and the mystery of the crinkly paper. Let comedy and all-out playfulness rule! Great addition to any kitten-appropriate home! Primary Color: Calico Age: 0yrs 3mths 2wksAdoption processADOPTION REQUIREMENTS * Be 18 years of age or older. * Have valid state-issued identification. * Allowed to have a pet where you live. (To protect you and your pet, get your landlord's or HOA's permission in writing before you adopt). * Willing and able to provide training, medical attention, and proper care for your new pet. Our adoption package also includes pre-adoption counseling, a take-home adoption packet, temporary collar, ID tag, temporary leash or carrier, free post-adoption resources and advice, $250 worth of medical care with VCA veterinary hospitals, a certificate for a free examination at a local veterinary hospital, and discounted pet insurance offer.Shelter locationBerkeley Humane 2700 Ninth Street Berkeley, CA 94710 ADOPTION HOURS Fridays–Sundays, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM We also offer mobile adoptions! Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with Shorthair names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
