Description

My name is Gracie Gray, and at 22 years young, I think I’ve earned the right to call myself a legend. I’m a sweet solid-gray lovebug with a heart just as soft as my plush fur. Recently, my world changed when the person my housemates and I loved very much passed away. Now my friends Bear, Hot Rod, Luis, and I are starting over at HART and hoping to find comfort, love, and a peaceful place to land.

I may be a senior girl, but my favorite things in life are beautifully simple: warm laps, gentle pets, cozy lounging sessions, and being close to my people. I’m incredibly friendly and still have so much love left to give. I would adore a quiet home where I can spend my golden years surrounded by kindness, maybe even with one of my longtime companions by my side.

Will you take a chance on a senior sweetheart like me? I don’t want my final chapter to be spent in a shelter. I dream of falling asleep in a loving home, curled up safely beside someone who sees the beauty in an old soul with a lifetime of love still waiting to share.

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
