Description

Eloise is a female tabby with white mittens and chest, and a pink nose. She has a frolicsome play style that is as silly as it is adorable. In fact, if we took a vote, with happy hops and her joy in carrying a puff ball in her mouth, she would win, "most likely to be mistaken for a puppy!” Eloise can be slightly shy at first, but give her five minutes of watching the fun and games, and her strong curiosity will get the best of her. Those goofy gallops will be on full display! Have I mentioned her eye contact? Eloise will hold your gaze and absolutely force you to give her a cuddle or grab a wand toy to join her and her playful enthusiasm. With an estimated DOB of 3/2/2026, Eloise is around three months old.

The Powerful Girls family is a litter of four stunning female kittens and their gorgeous calico mom, Sadie. Sadie is barely a kitten herself and at just over a year old, she runs and plays with her babies as if she's reclaiming lost time! The kittens are energetic and playful, and absolutely adore one another. When one can't find a family member, she will softly chirp as if to say," I'm alone... where is everyone?" Calling out, "babies!" brings them all running for a happy reunion! They enjoy chasing and wrestling, kick toys, sparkle puff balls, ball in track toys, and of course, wand toys. A nice tall cat tree for climbing and scratching satisfies their joy in leaping and climbing, and after a long play session, they all curl up in a kitten heap for naps.

Eloise would do best adopted with one of her sisters or another kitten of a similar age, or even better, her mother, Sadie. She has a unique bond with Mama Sadie and is helping Sadie to recapture her kittenhood. While Eloise hasn't been exposed to dogs, we think she could adapt to a calm and cat friendly dog. She has not been exposed to young children, but we think that she would do well with respectful children who are well supported in their interactions with cats and kittens.

All kittens must be adopted with another kitten or into a home with another young cat with which he or she can play and socialize. The majority of no-kill rescues nationwide adhere to this policy. This policy is NOT based on a desire to increase our number of adoptions, rather it ensures that the kittens we rescue, nurture, and love are adopted into homes that offer the best possible environment for their social development.

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
