To start our adoption process, House of Mews Rescue asks that you please complete our online no-obligation adoption application, which is located on our website under the adopt tab at http://www.houseofmewsrescue.org/adopt.html

Should our Adoption Coordinator feel your application is a good fit, a HOM volunteer will reach out to discuss your application with you. 

Current on vaccinations, and has tested positive for FIV ('Feline Immunodeficiency Virus') and negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia). 

This little country boy will surely melt your heart the minute you get him home...He has big dreams, and a loving personality. He can't get enough attention. He is well-rounded and enjoys everyone he meets. He is a fantastic entertainer, with his large personality, and his enjoyment of toys. Big toys, little toys, feather toys, cat trees, flying toys you name it, he's up for it. He enjoys other kitties and loves all humans too. He is the best cuddler around. Won't you consider signing him up for his next gig and be his forever family?

Adoption process

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, 1st vaccination, worming, and testing for FIV and Feline leukemia virus (FeLV).

House of Mews reserves the right to decline any application without explanation.

Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens).
