Description

DOB 2/11/2026  Spider is a sweet, affectionate little guy with a big heart and an even bigger love for companionship. He’s the definition of a Velcro kitty—Spider loves being close to his person and will happily follow you around just to be near you. He’s incredibly loving and enjoys soaking up attention and affection.

Spider also adores other cats and has especially bonded with a favorite girl kitty he loves spending time with. He’s playful and curious, and nothing gets him going like wand toys or chasing laser lights. He also has a healthy appetite and definitely never misses a meal!

Spider would thrive in a loving home where he can have plenty of affection, fun playtime, and ideally another kitty companion. He’s ready to be a loyal, loving best friend and bring lots of joy to the lucky family who adopts him.

For inquiries, please email [email protected].  You must be over 25 years old to adopt with proof of ID.  Adoption donation is $120.00 for kittens, $85.00 for teenagers (9-11 months), and $75.00 for adults (1 year & older) which helps cover all the vetting done to date.  Must live in the DFW area.

Adoption process

Our adoption process involves a personal interview with one of our adoption counsellors. Potential adopters are asked questions about their family, home, and lifestyle in order to match them with the perfect cat or kitten. We do require an adoption contract/agreement that outlines expectations for both the adopter and our organization.
Adoption Fees are $60 for adults, $100-120 for most kittens, and $150+ for specialty breeds.

Shelter location

We have adoptable cats and kittens on display at Petco Casa Linda, Petco Carrollton, Petco Lewisville, Petco Prestonwood and Petco Mesquite all the time. Adoptions are typically by appointment only with limited adoption events. Please use the Ask About Me button or email us at [email protected].

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
