Hunter and Herbie are Bonded Buddies; they'll be adopted as a pair
- Very shy when he arrived at the ARL, but has really come out of his shell in his foster home; looking for a patient family who will give him time to settle in
- Favorite thing to do is sit and talk to you with his little meow
- Food is the way to his heart
- Likes sitting next to you for attention
- Very attached to his buddy, and they do everything together; they also love to lie on top of each other, which is pretty adorable
- Has done well with kids, dogs and other cats in his foster home
- Will be a wonderful friend for someone who will be patient with him and give him time to settle in; it will be rewarding to watch him open up more every day
This cat can be fearful and may need extra time to adjust to a new home. We've seen good progress here at the ARL, but don't be surprised if it takes several weeks for this cat to become comfortable in a new place. This cat may hide and just observe at first - maybe for quite a while - and that is perfectly normal. Young children are too much for this cat right now, so we are highly recommending a quiet, mature home. We are happy to provide post-adoption resources. If you can give this cat extra time, patience and TLC, please consider adopting! It will be so rewarding to watch them gain confidence and start enjoying all the good things in life!
