Philly Street Survivors: From Struggle to Snuggles!
These sweet kittens were once sick and vulnerable on Philadelphia’s streets, but our rescue nursed them back to health. Now they’re playful, loving, and ready for their forever home - waiting to shower their new family with purrs and cuddles.
Tough beginnings, bright futures ahead! Who wants to give these little fighters their dream home? ❤️

Note:  if you do not have any other pets, we require that you adopt TWO kittens.  This is for the benefit of the kitten for behavioral development.  Companionship is critical.

They will also entertain each other and you!  

We offer a low cost spay and neuter package.

 

This cat has tested FeLV/FIV. negative, is current on vaccinations, parasite-free and litter-box trained.

Adoption process

Applications must be submitted first. Please see information on applying in the cat's description. Fees can vary per cat/breed.

Shelter location

We are currently showing cats at the Black Cat Cafe in Devon by appointment only. We do have adoptable cats in the gift shop during cafe hours.

    Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
