Meet Zuzu, a 3-year-old domestic shorthair with a personality as distinctive as his name. Zuzu is a thoughtful, independent companion who prefers to experience the world on his own terms. He’s not one to demand constant attention—but when he decides it’s time for affection, it feels all the more special. He’ll come to you for pets when he’s ready, making those quiet bonding moments truly rewarding.Zuzu appreciates having his boundaries respected. He’s not a fan of head pats, but he enjoys gentle affection in ways that suit him best. Because of his selective nature, Zuzu would thrive in a calm, adult-only home without dogs or young children.He can coexist with other cats, as long as he has his own space to retreat to and feel secure. With patience and understanding, Zuzu will make a loyal and quietly loving companion for someone who values a cat with a strong sense of self.We do all adoptions with approved applicants by appointment only. Our adoption fee is $200.00 for dogs, $125 for kittens under 6 months of age and $100 for all cats 6 months and older. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
