Meet Cobra
Cobra is a beautiful cat who’s been on a bit of a journey lately. When she first arrived, she was incredibly affectionate—offering up her belly, curling up beside people on the bench, and happily soaking up cuddles for as long as you'd give them. She even enjoyed being picked up! In recent weeks, she’s become more reserved, preferring to keep to herself rather than seek out constant attention. While she still shows interest when toys come out, she often holds back if other more dominant cats are around. Cobra isn’t one for conflict—she’d much rather walk away than cause a fuss. She’s still got that sweet, gentle soul, just waiting for the right environment to help her feel safe and secure again. Cobra would do wonderfully in a loving home where she doesn’t have to compete for attention—possibly with a family who will give her time and space to blossom back into the cuddly companion she used to be.

All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.

An application is required to view our adoptable pets. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

Appointments are HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
