Do you want a sociable, loveable buddy that adores people and loves to live on the wild side? Look no further than Bruce!

Bruce is a favorite around the sanctuary and can often be found wandering the halls at Cat Headquarters greeting visitors and volunteers. In the warmer months, Bruce loves to walk around the sanctuary on his harness and roll in the sand.

Bruce has never met a person he didn't like! He also loves stroller rides, being brushed, and has a thing for catnip. And while he loves people, Bruce isn't all that crazy about other cats, so his best home would be with a person or family all his own. He arrived declawed, and is toothless.

If you are looking for a best friend ready to greet you at the end of each day and wants nothing more than to curl up next to you, Bruce is perfect for you!

Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
