Our adoption center is open both Saturday & Sunday every weekend! Saturday's noon-5pm & Sunday's noon-4pm.

Tux is a beautiful black-and-white boy with a sweet personality and a heart full of love. He's very handsome with classic tuxedo markings like he's dressed up in his very own little suit. He's sweet and affectionate, with an energetic and curious personality. Tux loves affection and will sometimes climb right into your lap to fall asleep. He's also a little purr machine and loves being close to his people. He enjoys playing with all kinds of toys. He's used to being around kids and other pets and does well with everyone. Tux is affectionate, playful, curious, and full of personality. He has come such a long way and is now ready for a loving forever home where he can continue to grow play and be spoiled.  

This kitty should get along with kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions.

Tux was born approximately May 2, 2026, and his adoption fee is $160, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweet boy at our adoption center this weekend! 

You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend. For more information, or to confirm whether a particular cat or kitten will be present that weekend, please email [email protected].  Kitty City Kansas Rescue is a volunteer, non-profit organization.

Adoption process

You can read about our adoption process and download an application to be pre-approved by visiting our webpage at www.kittycityks.com and click on the 'contact us' link. Once you have a pre-approved application you can enter our adoption center on Saturday at 11:45, 15 minutes prior to our normal opening of noon. Our adoption fee's range from $45. up to $150.00.  An application and a legal contract are required at adoption. All animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.  The adoption fee includes the spay or neuter.  Everyone is current on vaccinations, treated for fleas and worms & tested for feline leukemia plus they will receive a free well exam at one of our participating vets
