Meow! Hozier! That is me. Like the singer and songwriter; my siblings and I were all named after our caretakers' favorites! My momma being Pandora!! I am a LOVELY boy. I love to run, jump, and play.. like any kitten would. However, I also just like to chill and sleep when the time calls. In a bed or by your side: both are purrrrfect choices!

Adoption process

We have an application, a contract, a release form, and an adoption fee. Each cat goes home with a tote bag with medical folder and information.

Shelter location

Our adoptable cats reside at The Charming Cat Corner in Music City Mall of Lewisville, TX. Cat visiting hours are Mon-Sat: 11 am - 6 pm; Sun: noon - 5 pm

    Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens).
