Description

Artemis Adoption Bio:

Artemis is a feisty girl who is growing into her name. She is very friendly, active and vocal. She loves her toys, particularly little stuffed mice that she will carry around in her mouth and will growl slightly to let everyone know that it is hers. Artemis is a gentle soul as well, and though she loves to play with her brother and our 1 year old foster-fail cat, Pumpkin, she is also gentle and loving and will nuzzle you and allow you to give her belly and chin scratches. She will be best in a house with another cat. Artemis is used to noise, other animals (our cat and a goofy boxer, Zelda) all play around each other with no issues. If looking for a pair of kittens, Artemis and Apollo are bonded.

Adoption process

When a potential adopter is interested in one of our kitties, they are required to fill out an application. After it's review and if approved, a meet and greet is set up to determine if it is a good match.

Upon adoption all cats are vaccinated, microchipped, FIV/FELV tested, sterilized, dewormed and given flea medication.

    Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens).
