Description

SOOKIE

Hey there, I'm Sookie-the chill, laid-back mama with a heart of gold!

I may have been a dedicated, loving mom to my five babies (yep, they had very interesting names-blame my foster mom's love of vampires ), but now it's my turn to kick back and enjoy the good life! I'm in a cozy foster home, but I'm dreaming of my very own forever spot to call home. If you're looking for a calm, affectionate kitty with serious "cool cat vibes, I'm your girl!

Sookie's Highlights:

Affectionate - I give the best snuggles around!
Friendly - I've never met a stranger I didn't like!
Good with Cats - Fellow felines? I'm all about it!
Good with Kids - Little humans are pretty great too!
Indoor Only - I'm all about that indoor lounge life!
Litter Box Trained - Clean and tidy, of course!
So, if you're ready to welcome a chill, sweet, and totally cool kitty into your life, fill out an application to meet me! Let's make some relaxing memories together.

Love,
Sookie

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
