Description
Meet Trish, aka Nubben (she has no tail). Trish and her two kittens, Oscar and Lola, were being cared for outside by a nice lady. Trish is a tiny tabby with beautiful swirly markings. While she is young (approx. 1 to 1.5 years old), she has already had a few litters of kittens. Trish is timid at first, and is very sweet with a little touch of spice. She loves to be pet and will reward you with loud purrs. Once comfortable, she will follow you around, rub on your legs, and look for attention/food/treats. She is very food motivated. Trish is not a fan of being held, but will let you pick her up for short periods of time and will cuddle on your shoulder and purr. She will sleep on your bed with you. She is easy to put into a carrier if needed. She is very independent. Trish does not seem to lfemale cats, but does fine with male cats. She does not interact much with them, so she would be fine as an only cat. Although she has started playing a lot with her daughter Lola. Trish is not a lap cat yet, and still will hide when new people are around. She is super playful; very kitten-like. She gets the zoomies and runs around the house. The perfect home for her would be a quiet one with no young children, no female cats. Trish's adopter should be an experienced cat owner who understands she will need time to adjust. Trish has not been exposed to dogs, so it's not clear how she will do.
Trish was born around November 3, 2023, and is currently being fostered in Shelton. She is fixed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Adoption process
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.fosterandforever.org. If all is well on your application, we will contact you about setting up a home visit by one of our volunteers.**Please give your vet permission to release information to us as we check references.
The adoption fee for our cats covers the cost of spaying/neutering, age appropriate routine vaccinations, deworming, snap test, and flea preventive treatment. Some of our older cats are offered at a reduced fee in order to encourage placement in a permanent home.
Thank you for your interest in adopting from Foster and Forever Pet Rescue!
NOTE: For the safety of our cats and adopter’s children, families with children under 5 years of age will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
