Description
Piper is sponsored by Juniper & Ash.
Hi my name is Piper!
Though I'm young, I'm full of love to give. I can be a bit shy when we first meet, but once I get to know you, we'll be the best of friends. I'm quite smart, you see. I've learned all sorts of things here, like how to play with toys and find the comfiest spots to nap. I'm also very gentle and friendly. I love to be petted and I promise to purr for you every day. I'm ready to find my forever home where I can share my sweetness and intelligence. Adopting me means gaining a loyal companion who will fill your life with joy and love.
If you are interested in meeting me, the shelter is open Tuesday through Saturday 11am – 5pm (winter hours).
If you'd like to schedule an appointment, check out the pets' profile on our website at newberganimals.com to fill out an application and email to [email protected] to COVID-19, we are currently only open by appointment. Please follow the instructions on each pet profile.
Adoption process
Due to COVID-19, Newberg Animal Shelter is not open for walk-ins. Please view our available pets on our website, newberganimals.com.If a pet is listed as available at PetSmart, you can go directly to that PetSmart to adopt (call to verify availability first).
If you are interested in a pet that is available in our shelter, you will need to submit an adoption application to be considered.
We are receiving multiple applications on every pet. If we do not call you to do an adoption, please do not consider it a rejection. We simply have a lot of applications coming in and very limited staff.
Adoption Applications do not place holds on pets, nor do we do pre-adoptions.
Rather than doing first-come-first-serve adoptions, Newberg Animal Shelter considers all applications and chooses the home that is the best fit for that particular pet. We want the adoptions to be happy and successful for the family and the pets.
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, and at least their first set of vaccines, and microchip.
