Description

? Meet North & Saint — a sweet brother-and-sister duo looking for their forever, FOREVER home. ❤️

For almost five years, North and Saint were loved members of a family. Sometimes life brings difficult circumstances, and despite that love, their family could no longer care for them. They’re now back with us at NCHS, where we’re helping them find their next loving home.

These two are very sweet and affectionate. They may be a little shy at first as they adjust to so much change, but patience, kindness, and a little time will help them feel safe and comfortable again.

We’re hoping to find North and Saint a home together, where they can settle in, enjoy cozy naps, and share their love with a family ready to welcome them both. ??

Could you give these sweet siblings their next chapter? Contact NCHS to learn more! ?fill out application - https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=nh0734&method=online_form_html&formid=17

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
