INTRODUCING BAXTER!

Things were heading south fast for Baxter when he was turned over to us. A baby, two toddlers and a cat were proving too much for his family to handle. They'd already put him outside twice, hoping he'd find somewhere else to live. When he kept coming back they felt sorry for him and let him in, but their next plan was to drive him further away so he couldn't find his way home. Yikes! Thankfully a concerned friend took it upon herself to make sure that didn't happen and brought him to us. This poor guy's next home must truly be forever!
Baxter is about two years old, has been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and has perfect litter box manners. Having been an only kitty in his former family, being with a lot of cats at the shelter has been pretty overwhelming for him. He's doing a lot better and even snuggles with some of the other cats sometimes, but he'd be perfectly happy to be your one and only feline friend. An adult home or one with older kids would be the best fit for him. Once he settles in and feels safe, he's a very sweet, personable fellow. He's also very smart and curious about what's going on, as you can see from some of his pictures.
