Description

Bolt welcomes attention and purrs when petted. He will seek out his human companion's lap to rest on. It will take Bolt several days to warm up to a new person as he was close to his owner since a young kitten for over a year. His owner passed away suddenly so Bolt is experiencing a change from his normal routine. He is a bit shy and reserved around strangers. Bolt has a loud meow and enjoys being near a window and basking in the sunshine. His ideal home is with an individual, couple or family. Bolt should be okay with other cats and a cat-friendly dog with a proper introduction. His littermate Princess has been with him from the beginning. They don't appear to be closely bonded; therefore, will consider adopting separately. Bolt is a large two-year-old bright orange tiger tabby with yellow eyes and a short tail.

Friends of Jackson County Animal Shelter Pets (FJCASP) is a foster-based rescue for dogs and cats. All pets are in a home environment cared for by a foster person who provides temporary care until the pet can be placed in a permanent home. Friends of Jackson County is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.

· All Friends Animals have been spayed or neutered
· Vaccinations, HW and flea preventative up to date
· Heartworm test on age-appropriate dogs
