Melmel (ACCT-A-260151) is an 8 week old male kitten who was found as a stray and brought to ACCT Philly on 8/28/26. He was described by the finder as friendly, cuddly, vocal and enjoys being petted.

Upon intake, Melmel weighed 2.3 lbs and was bright alert with a healthy appetite! He unfortunately tested positive for Panleukemia and is currently in isolation. Melmel received supportive care that includes subcutaneous fluids with anti-nausea, antibiotic, and deworming medications.

Melmel is looking for a rescue partner who can give him a cozy place to continue his care, recover, and move on toward healthy kittenhood.
