Description
Tiggy is a gorgeous lady with a smushie face who enjoys a good chin scratch. Tiggy arrived at Home Fur Good with what was assumed, an upper respiratory infection. After lots of test and treatments, it has been determined that she has feline herpesvirus. Cats can spread this virus through saliva and eye discharge. Tiggy would do best as an only cat or with cats with the same virus. Flareups are easily treated with ointments and eye drops. Flareups can also be avoided when a cat has a clean and comfortable environment. Tiggy is five years old, she weighs 10 pounds and she is currently hanging out at the PetSmart located on the corner of Tatum and Shea. Her adoption fee is $85. All Home Fur Good cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vaccinated appropriate for their age, tested for FIV/FELV and vet checked. Home Fur Good Animal Rescue is located at 10220 North 32nd Street, just south of Shea Blvd in Phoenix.
Adoption process
Home Fur Good has trained adoption counselors to review and question any potential problems/issues with application. We do require an adoption fee which ranges for dogs $150-$300 and for cats $50-$100. All cats and dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and vet checked. If another dog or dogs are present in the household we require a meet and greet prior to adoption. All members of the household must be on board with adoption. We do not adopt our rescues out without meeting person that will be responsible - no "gift" adoptions. We contract that if cat/dog must be relinquished they are returned to us. If there is a change of ownership we must be kept informed who responsible party is. Fees are non refundable.
