Meet Willa – A Brave Little Survivor with a Big Heart! ??

Willa is a stunning young kitten with a one-of-a-kind coat—a mix of orange and brown tabby swirls that make her look like a tiny work of art. This sweet girl has already had quite the adventure! She was first spotted darting around a Goodwill parking lot, likely after hitching a scary ride under a car. Many tried to catch her, but Willa was quick and clever—until she climbed into another car’s engine bay. That’s when one of our amazing volunteers crawled under the car and finally scooped her to safety.

After such a frightening ordeal, Willa can be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—she’s still a gentle, friendly kitten who warms up quickly with patience and love. Once she feels safe, she’ll reward you with purrs, sweetness, and playful kitten charm.

Adoption process

We require a completed application and references. Our fees cover the vetting we have in our pets for adoption. We are looking for loving family homes who are wanting to adopt a new indoor family member.

Shelter location

You can visit our adoptable cats at our used book store/ cat adoption center, Cat Tales, located at 601 N Charles St. Portland, IN.
Our adoptable dogs are all in foster homes, so we schedule appointments to meet them once applications are approved.
