Hi, my name is Kabob.

I am a shy boy that doesn't scratch or bite but just runs away and hides. My foster has been working with me so I no longer run away from her even though I know she is going to pick me up. I like to cuddle but I am still a little scared and will bury my face in your arm for the first few minutes until I realize that I am okay. I like Churu treats and will eat a whole packet at once. When I have had enough, I hop down and instead of hiding under things like I normally do, after pets, I might sit in a cat bed on a dresser and look over the room. Every day I am getting more confident.

I have the soft fur of a young cat and a sweet disposition. I will make a great companion for a quiet person who is patent and kind to me.

Visit the Wake County Animal Center 820 Beacon Lake Road, Raleigh, NC 27610 to find a pet that best suits you, your home, your family and your lifestyle. Open seven days a week, noon to 6 p.m.

IMPORTANT
Animals are adopted on a first-come, first-served basis. All animals must be met, in person, prior to a deposit being placed on the animal. No deposits will be placed over the phone.
