Description

Hi! My name is Olive. I am a sweet loving kitty who loves to talk. All I want is to be with people. I get a little spicy if I don't get to do what I want. I do fine being picked up. I am selective with other cats. I do okay with dogs, but I do tolerate them. I may do better with older children. I can be someone's new best friend.
To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

All of our animals are flea treated, wormed, spayed/ neutered and up to date with viral and rabies vaccinations. All cats are feline leukemia tested and all dogs are heart worm tested.

Microchip available for additional $20.

Shelter location

We are located at 2101 West Main Street in Richmond, Indiana and are open Tuesday through Friday 12pm to 5pm; Saturday 12pm to 4pm.

Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
