Description

Hi, my name is Dallas! I`m a bouncy orange boy who is ready to find my furrever home! I was recently transferred to PAWS, and my friends at my previous rescue had really nice things to say about me: `...Sweet, loving boy. Runs to greet anyone who comes into the room and is always happy to get attention. Hasn`t been introduced to other cats or dogs while in my care; however, he has such a friendly, social nature that I think he could potentially do well with proper introductions.` As my friends said, I would benefit from having another kitten or cat buddy in my new home to help me learn my manners. Adoption process

Visit PAWS Cat City at 5200 Roosevelt Way NE Suite B, Seattle, WA 98105 tel. 206-782-1700. Please arrive at least one hour before closing if you plan to visit with the animals:
Monday: Closed.
Tuesday: Noon–6 p.m
Wednesday: Noon-6 p.m.
Thursday: Noon–6 p.m.
Friday: Noon–6 p.m.
Saturday: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
Sunday: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.

Holiday hours: PAWS Cat City is closed for adoptions on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

    Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
