Description + Description -

**Lovebug - Patient - Romantic ** Tiny Tanner takes a little time to get to know you, however once you've received the Tanner seal of approval he will roll over for pets, start drool purring and make air biscuits for you. Tanner appreciates human company, and will show you how much he loves you by petting and rubbing against you! He's a little shy in new situations, and may need a low traffic home. Human company is what it takes to bring out his confidence. He adores other cats and loves to play and cuddle with them. He's confident around other animals so may even do well with a respectful dog. Tanner has some allergies that we are working on managing through his diet and this may require management through out his life.Tanner's adoption fee is $125. We receive no federal, state, or government funding. Adoption fees help offset some of the costs associated with providing for the cats and kittens in our care—this includes housing, medical care, enrichment, behavior modification, and more. CAT uses variable adoption pricing. The adoption fee for each cat is dependent on many factors including age, behavior, health, and demand. Adoption fees range from $15 to $200 for cats (1 year old and above) and $100 to $200 for kittens (2-11 months old). Thanks to the Aleece Runge Fund for Senior Cats, the adoption fee for all cats 8 years and older is waived. The adoption fee for each cat is included in their pet bio. Adoption discounts apply for adopting a pair of cats or kittens. Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with Shorthair names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
