This chatty gentleman is never shy about sharing his thoughts—whether he’s greeting you at the door, asking for snacks, or just narrating his day. Professor Pumpkin Paws is incredibly friendly and loves being around people, happily soaking up attention and companionship.

Professor Pumpkin Paws is FIV positive, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit—FIV cats can live long, happy, normal lives and can safely live with other friendly cats.

Between his outgoing personality, adorable orange charm, and constant commentary, life with him is never boring.

If you’re looking for a lovable, talkative companion who will keep you company (and keep the conversation going), Professor Pumpkin Paws is ready to take up residence in your home—and your heart.

Adoption process

Our adoption process includes a short questionnaire, a couple of phone or in-person conversations with you and your references. Adoption fees range from $75-150
All our cats and kittens are fully vetted prior to being posted for adoption, including spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccines, tested for FIV/FeLV/HW, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for parasites.

Shelter location

Weekly Adoption Events:
• Sunday: 12pm - 3pm, PetSmart Levittown, 157 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown, PA 19054
• Saturday & Sunday: 12pm - 3pm, PetSmart Fairless Hills, 220 Commerce Blvd Fairless Hills, PA 19090

Most of our cats are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment, typically at our regular adoption events.
Some of our cats can be seen when these stores are open.

Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
