Description

A little shy at first — but once he decides you’re good people, he’s all yours.

Wally is a dapper grey and white 1-year-old young man who came to us after being pulled from a crowded shelter. He may take a moment to warm up when you first meet him, but don’t let that fool you. Once he feels safe, this sweet guy blossoms into a playful, affectionate companion who loves a good play session and absolutely will not say no to pets — or dinner.

Wally’s Personality ?
Wally is the kind of cat who reminds you that the best things take a little time. He’s not the type to immediately jump in your lap the moment you walk in the door — but give him a little space to observe, and he’ll be nudging your hand for pets before you know it. Once comfortable, he’s playful and engaged, happy to swat at a toy or settle in nearby while you go about your day.

    Breed info

Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
