Description

Date of Birth June 29, 2023

Prada, and siblings, were born to us as we took their stray momma in earlier that day...and in the evening she blessed us with 10 shining little faces. Prada is small but don't let that fool you as she has a big personality and holds her own with her MUCH bigger siblings. Perfect mix of silly and lovable. If you are looking for a fun kitten...Prada just might be your girl.

{scheduled to be sterilized late October}

Adoption process

Puppies up to a year old have a $275 adoption fee, dogs over a year old are $225 and our senior dogs 10+ years are $100 (if we microchip there will be an additional $25 fee added on top the standard adoption fee).

Our kittens up to 6 months old have an adoption fee of $125, 6 months to 10 years are $100 and our senior cats 10+ are $50.

* Please be aware, that on occasion, when we receive purebred animals they may have a higher adoption fee then stated above

All animals are sterilized and current on vaccinations by time of adoption. If for some reason an animal can't be sterilized prior to adoption a spay/neuter contract will be signed and a spay/neuter deposit will be utilized.

All applications are reviewed by a volunteer based committee. Applications are first reviewed and approved for general adoption, once all applications on a specific pet are reviewed best home for the pet will be chosen. If the application passed committee review the applicant will be contacted for a home visit. If all goes well with a home visit, a meet and greet may be set up with desired pet if the committee feels it's a good match. If there is more than one applicant for a specific pet the committee will choose the home they feel best to fit the pets needs.

Shelter location

Pets are currently only available for meet & greets by appointment with approved applications if chosen for the specific pet.

    Breed info

    Like the domestic long-haired cat, this is not a breed, but a non-breed classification of mixed-breed cats. Domestic cat (Felis catus) A domestic short-haired cat is a cat of mixed ancestry—thus not belonging to any particular recognized cat breed—possessing a coat of short fur. In British English, they are often referred to as moggies. Domestic short-haired cats should not be confused with the British Shorthair, American Shorthair, or other standardized breeds with "Shorthair" names, which are breeds recognized by various registries. Domestic short-haireds are the most common cat in the United States, accounting for around 90–95% of their number. Other generic terms include house cat and alley cat (the latter may be used more specifically to refer to feral specimens). The term tabby cat technically refers to a coat pattern, but is also often used as a general term for cats of this sort.
