Abby is a beautiful 4-month-old puppy who has already experienced more than any puppy should. She is a very shy and sensitive little girl, but the good news is that Abby has made her way to the Animal Orphanage, and this is where her new journey begins.

Abby will need a patient and kind family who understands that confidence takes time. She would do especially well in a home with another friendly, confident dog. Having a canine companion by her side could help Abby learn that the world is a safe place and encourage her to slowly come out of her shell. She is looking for a home with older teen children and a secure fenced yard where she can feel safe while she learns, grows, and blossoms.

Abby may need a little extra time and patience, but watching this sweet puppy discover her confidence and become the happy dog she is meant to be will be incredibly rewarding. She is ready for a fresh start and a family willing to give her the time she deserves.

Adoption process

All potential adopters must be at least 21 years of age.
An application must be completed and can take up to a week to process. Once an application is approved, family meets, dog meets (if applicable) and home checks must be completed.

Shelter location

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.
