Description
From Luna's previous owner:
Hello,
With an extremely heavy heart we have to put Luna up for adoption. Luna has been with us everyday for the last 4+ years, she was born 9/4/2020 and we got her in November 2020. My husband has had allergies but they worsened over the years.
Luna is an extremely loving, curious, and believe it or not "clean" bunny. Luna is free roam and honestly I don't see her being contained, so if you are not planning to free roam...Luna is not for you.
Around 6-7 am Luna will come by our bedroom door and wait for us because she wants her breakfast, once we are out she will follow us to the fridge and we will walk to her area and put her lettuce down, she will run after us :) she will chomp away and leave a snack for later. She will be awake for a couple hours and then she will go to her favorite chair either on top or underneath to go to sleep. She is litter trained so she will go to the bathroom in her box whenever she needs to, accidents haven't occurred in a long time.
She is successfully litter trained. She loves it when the sun comes into the house and she will bask in the sun. Throughout the day, you will find Luna flopping, she is a content and happy bunny, especially because she is free roam. You might wonder if she chews things around the house, our wires are all covered so she doesn't even attempt to chew it, she hasn't chewed any furniture or fabric; however, she has chewed molding, so we put a fence around our molding. She first chewed it when we moved into our new place but hasn't done it for several months, we believed it was the change and the fact we weren't spending time with her. She likes having attention in the evening, she likes when you pet her using your feet :) after you pet her she will lick you wanting to be pet more or to thank you but usually she wants more. She will also nudge you to pet her more by putting her head under your foot.
Before we had our kids, we used to let Luna in our bedroom where she would sleep at the foot of our bed, like I said she is like a bunny "dog"! Luna does her zoomies either on the rug or our couch around 4-5 am.
Luna doesn’t like it if you go into her area when she is eating or pooping, she will grunt at you. She also doesn’t drink her water, so don’t be alarmed. If you don’t see it being finished, we put water on her lettuce. If you are wearing colorful socks, she will get upset and grunt at you and try to attack you. Luna is a 4 1/2 year old holland lop of harlequin color. She loves to eat lettuce, basil and cilantro.
If you are interested in adopting Luna, please inquire here or contact us at [email protected] and we'll happily send you the adoption package. Thank you!
