Description

This precious boy is a purebred, 2 year old, 11 pound Min Pin who is looking for a stable and consistent home for his future years. He is looking for a home due to his former owner having some tough health issues that she is struggling through.  She has allowed Critter Cavalry Rescue to take this boy and find him a secure and loving home.  What is so amazing about Bently is his calm and very non-anxious personality.   This boy is so chill and just goes with the flow and never nippy or unpredictable.  He is great with other creatures, dogs and cats and has been around young children as well.   He is housebroken and crate trained.  Bentley is so handsome and loves to be held and is a wonderful car rider as well.   If you know the breed well then you can appreciate that he is NOT a dog with high anxiety and he truly could have come with those emotions due to his past 2 years of ups and downs with his owner.  Bently is the BEST!  If you are interested please contact us at [email protected]   He is currently in Nashville, TN and we are able to transport our dogs northward every weekend.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or [email protected]

    Breed info

The Miniature Pinscher, also known as the Zwergpinscher, and Min Pin, is a small breed of dog of the pinscher type originating from Germany. The breed's earliest ancestors may have included the German Pinscher mixed with Italian greyhounds and dachshunds. Historical artifacts and paintings place the Min Pin as a very old breed, but factual documentation began less than 200 years ago, leaving its actual origins to debate. Many historians and those who have researched the background of the breed agree that this heritage is most likely correct, adding the shorthaired German Pinscher to the family tree. The international kennel club, the Fédération Cynologique Internationale, lists the Miniature Pinscher in Group 2, Section 1.1 Pinscher, along with the Dobermann, the German Pinscher, the Austrian Pinscher, and the other Toy Pinscher, the Affenpinscher. Other kennel clubs list the Miniature Pinscher in the Toy Group or Companion Group.
