Description
Boo is a handsome Miniature Schnauzer mix with a black, grey and hint of tan coat and soulful black eyes. He has the classic build of a Schnauzer, with a wagging tail that never seems to stop. He weighs in at 15 pounds.
Boo was found abandoned in his TX owner’s backyard after they passed away, but despite his rough start, he hasn't lost his zest for life. He's now in search of a loving forever home where he can receive the care and attention he deserves. He truly is ready to embark on new adventures with his future family.
Boo has plenty of energy for a 10 year old but also enjoys resting in his bed or laying next to you on the sofa. He is very affectionate. He loves to play with his stuffed toys, go for walks, and explore new surroundings. He's incredibly loyal and forms strong bonds with his humans, always eager to please and be by their side.
Boo is also quite intelligent and responds well to training. Never was leash trained, but he is doing great now. He marked his new surroundings for the first few days so foster used a belly band. He stopped needing this after a few days.
He tends to be a finicky eater and may need a special Rx diet going forward.
Boo would thrive in a home where he receives sufficient exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard where he can run and play would be a bonus, but what he really craves is love and companionship.
He barks with a wagging tail when he encounters other dogs on walks and neighbor dogs through the fence. His previous southern foster home also had many other dogs in it.
Boo would do best with a retired person or couple or someone who is home a good amount of the time.
Don't miss out on the opportunity to bring this lovable and loyal companion into your life!
