THREE-LEGGED FLOWER WILL BLOOM WITH YOUR ADOPTION Meet Flower, a sweet and courageous three-legged dog seeking a forever home. After surviving a dog attack and being seriously hurt, Flower was rescued from her neglectful owner by a stranger. She’s demonstrated remarkable resilience and despite requiring leg amputation. she moves effortlessly, including navigating stairs. In a previous foster setting, she harmoniously coexisted with smaller dogs and a cat. However, she’s selective about canine companions and cautious around children. Now a year and 1/2 old, fully vaccinated, spayed, and weighing 40 pounds, she’s eager for a loving environment. Basic training and housebreaking is complete, and any additional training will be paid for. Flower is most likely full size, and ever so ready to provide affection and loyalty. A key aspect of her personality is her love for cuddling. A true testament about this sweet pooch from her rescuer; “I want so badly to get this sweet girl to a great home. Adoption process

To adopt a cat or dog, please fill out an adoption application from our website: https://www.ny-petrescue.org under the "adopt" tab. The adoption donation for a puppy/dog is $400; a cat is $125; and a kitten is $150 (higher amounts for pure breeds). If the puppy or kitten is too young to be neutered, we require a spay/neuter deposit of $60 which is refundable upon receipt of proof from your vet. All adoption donations are tax-deductible. Our pets are examined by a veterinarian, spayed and neutered if age appropriate, vaccinated, dewormed, receive flea/tick treatment and microchipped. Our review process may happen quickly (within two days) or may take up to two weeks - email is our preferred means of communication. Shelter location

We have Dog & Puppy Meet + Greets every Saturday from 11:30am-1:30pm at Pet Rescue, 7 Harrison Ave, Harrison NY. All are welcome to attend; only approved applicants can take home a pet. Kitty Cottage open houses are by appt only - please call (914) 835-4133 to make an appt.
