Boots, Terrier (unknown Type, Medium) For Adoption In New York, New York

Description + Description -

Meet Boots! A sweet, social little guy who is 4-years-old, weighs 13 lbs and has settled into city life with ease. Boots gets along wonderfully with dogs and cats, and he truly loves being around people. He’ll happily follow you from room to room like your tiny shadow, but he’s also perfectly content relaxing on his own when you’re away. Boots is crate trained, house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. He already knows how to sit and will even lift one little paw for a treat. He’s comfortable being carried in a bag and has already handled train and bus rides like a pro. We have yet to hear him bark, not even when the intercom buzzer goes off or when someone knocks on the door. He’s also a big cuddle lover and enjoys curling up beside you, especially since he tends to run a little cold and may shiver if it’s chilly, which isn’t an issue since he likes to dress up. Boots is the kind of companion who adapts easily, brings a calm and loving presence wherever he goes, and fits naturally into everyday life. Terrier (from the French word terrier [tɛʁje], meaning burrow ) is a type of dog originally bred to hunt vermin. A terrier is a dog of any one of many breeds or landraces of the terrier type, which are typically small, wiry, game, and fearless.[4] Terrier breeds vary greatly in size from just 1 kg (2 lb) to over 32 kg (71 lb) and are usually categorized by size or function. There are five different groups of Terrier, with each group having different shapes and sizes.
