Meet Peaches! ?

This sweet girl is officially off mom duty and learning just how wonderful life can be! After being rescued from the Coachella Valley shelter's euthanasia list alongside her seven pups, Peaches is rediscovering her happy-go-lucky, playful self.

At around 15–18 lbs, this terrier/dachshund mix is the perfect compact size. She is scheduled to be spayed soon (which will help her tummy tuck back up to its normal shape), and she’s ready to find a forever home to grow with!

Here is what makes Peaches a fantastic housemate:
Crate Trained & Nighttime Pro: She happily goes to sleep in her crate and stays quiet from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. She also settles in comfortably for short crate breaks when her foster family steps out for dinner or errands.
Potty Habits: Zero indoor accidents when taken out on a prompt routine! If she’s in her crate and needs to step outside, she’ll give a clear signal to let you know.
Exploring the Big World: Since everything in a home is still fresh and exciting to her, she’s actively working on her leash manners.
Making Friends: New people and dogs can feel a little intimidating at first. However, once she gets some gentle head scratches—or a classic "butt-sniff" introduction with another dog—she warms up quickly and is ready to play and share her space.
Cat Etiquette: She’s still figuring out cats. She might bark or follow them around out of curiosity, but if the cat stands its ground, she doesn't pursue or chase.

Peaches has overcome a tough start and is ready for a family who will give her the love, patience, and gentle guidance she deserves.
