Why this pet is the one for you:
This is Oswalda! Oswalda is a beautiful red-eared slider who is ready and waiting to meet their forever family! Red-eared sliders are an invasive species in California, and should go to prepared homes where they can live out their days in comfort, without being able to run (er, slowly walk) away. Although sliders can live in huge (100+ gallon) indoor aquariums, their ideal living situation is an outdoor pond with room to swim, bask, and explore. Oswalda's pond should be established and bioactive, or equipped with a filter to keep their pool clean! Red-eared sliders live long lives (20+ years), so Oswalda needs someone to provide for them in the long term. Oswalda does enjoy their turtle pellets, but they will need to be supplemented with a species-specific omnivorous diet. Oswalda can't wait to bask in the sun in their new home! Don't forget that little tiny turtle fence to keep them from going on any adventures. If you think Oswalda is the one for you, ask about Oswalda today!
