Hello kind folks! My name is Sonia and I am a 10 year old 9 lb yorkie girl in search of my new home and forever family. I was found wandering the streets of South Florida right before New Years Day and I can tell you I was very very scared. Thankfully the shelter director called FCCR for assistance and in a New York minute I was picked up and placed in a quiet foster home to decompress and enjoy the holidays in a peaceful and loving home. Foster mommy says I am a very sweet, loving and quiet little girl. I love being around people and other dogs but no idea on cats...quite frankly as long as they are friendly I am sure I'd like them. They just need to be nice kitties since I am a SMALL little girl and I have zero aggression in me so if they were to pick a fight I wouldn't know what to do!!!! Also, I am a little vision impaired but no worries...I can still see you and my surroundings, especially during the day! If you are interested in makng me part of your family please submit an application to www.floridacockerrescue.org ADOPTION FEE: $295

Adoption process

Please email us with any questions or for an adoption application. We review applications, check vet references, talk to potential adopters and do home visits prior to adoptions. Most adoption fees around $200 depending on the age of the dog. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, rabies, vaccines, HW test & HW & flea preventative,
